Some excerpts from a letter written by Tim O’ Dea, Head of Fundraising for the Irish Hospice Foundation:

Dear Salt & Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band,

Everyone is entitled to a dignified, comfortable death. We believe that no one should face death or bereavement without appropriate care and support. Your very generous gift of €2000 will help us achieve this vision. Thank you so much for your support.

“The Beat Goes On”: Almost €2000 Raised
Wednesday December 16th, 2009

Salt & Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band’s recent fundraiser “The Beat Goes On” has so far raised almost €2000 for the Irish Hospice Foundation. A HUGE thank you goes out to everyone who helped make the event such a huge success. We would particularly like to thank Donaghmore-Ashbourne GAA Club for the use of their venue, Rosie Conway for organizing so many raffle prizes, and everyone who gave up their time and talent for the Band.

Thank you, all. The Beat Goes On…

Sunday May 1, 2011

We’re in the middle of moving our website to a new hosting plan, so you may find a lot of broken links and other things not quite working over the next 24 hours as we wait for things to transfer over.

Thanks for your patience.

Since 1998, Salt & Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band has been proud to support the following charities and organisations: So far, we have raised over €100,000 for these causes through the kind generosity of those who continue to support us by giving up their time and talent.
